Antique Victorian Wrist Purse

Circa later 1800's (around 1870's) small purse with wrist strap. All hand stictched with beaded floral front and woven thin brass in the edging. Front and back are decorated the same. Back is missing some white beads- see close-up views. Body measures 4 inches tall by 4 and 1/ 2 inches at widest point. Wrist strap is 7 inches long.

Beaded french taffeta with brilliant paste pave rhinestone clasp. The taffeta is adorned with glass beads, rhinestones, ornate brass beads and French brass sequins. This purse is in beautiful excellent condition. Has inside lining pocket with lined beveled mirror with coin pouch, and built in inner change purse. Measures7 inches across and 6 and 1/2 inches tall to top of clasp. Circa 1930's - 1940's.
