Art Deco Dance Purse Compact

Signed D.F.B. CO. (DF Briggs Company) Circa later 1920's -1930's. Guilloche ornate case with pretty wrist strap. Front is enameled with hand-painted roses in gold basket. Inside has powder spot with puff (puff is worn) no sifter, a spot for rouge (no rouge), a tiny lipstick case with some lipstick still inside (dark burgandy shade) and a fourth compartment that seems to be missing it's top? I am not sure what would have been in that one. The back has a small crease and some minor scuffs. Measurses 3 and 3/4 inches tall to top of fancy clasp. The mirror is in excellent condition.

Signed Evans. Pretty acorn shapped lighter. Has original lighter kit: 2 Evans flints, 1 stiff bristle brush, and valve adjustment wrench. I believe this is circa late 1950's or 1960's. Measures 3 and 1/4 inches tall.

Rhinestone Compact

Sparkly crystal rhinestones in gold-tone piece. Appears to have never been used. Has 2 puffs inside and a little reorder paper that reads "to replace powder puff or sifter No 2 send 15c to Schloss & Hausmann, 220 Fifth Ave, New York 1, N.Y." Measures just under 3 inches across. Some scuffs on back, otherwise excellent condition. I believe this is circa 1950's.

Signed Cara Nome Langlois Boston Sterling. Beautiful sterling compact. Rouge is present. Has side for loose powder. Both puffs are present. Mirror has a few spots were silvering is showing age. Front has a bridal basket (logo basket) with radiating lines like a spider web, or sun rays. Measures 3 and 3/8 inches across.

Probably by atrys of France ca 1950s. The signature should be under the paper liner of the powder- which is intact. Limoges powder compact with the traditional Fragonard courtship scene. Has screen and powder puff. In wonderful, excellent condition.

Art Deco Vintage Vanity Case Carry-all with Finger Ring Dance Purse

Signed F&B. Engraved gold tone carry all compact with chatelaine finger ring and amethyst glass cab. Inside has 2 sides, one with mirror, coin holders, rouge, and powder compartments, the other side has a pencil and a cellophaned area with paper underneath. I cannot figure out how to open the cellophaned pad. In very good to excellent condition.
